Technically gifted, but no thanks.

We’ve had Stoke’s best player.

I wouldn’t touch any of the others, although Moyes will probably be on the phone to Crouch in the summer.

North Bank. You’d take Rondon!!! FMOB He’s slower than me. Shaquiri and Bertrand and perhaps Tadic.

Re: Xherdan Shaqiri
He’s had enough of Stoke, even if they pull off a great escape, he’ll be off. I bet his agent is working overtime right now.

North Bank 11:08 Tue Apr 17
Re: Xherdan Shaqiri
There's a few to be had from those three Clubs that would be good additions to our squad or team Gibbs, Bertrand, Shaqiri Robson Foster Forster Tadic Evans

Realistically I'd sell Arthur and get Shaqiri and revert to a back four, get one of the keepers as 1st choice or back up to Adrian and take Rondon to fight for a forward position and sell Hugill

Re: Xherdan Shaqiri
The two that I would take from West Brom based on Sunday were Jay Rodriguez and Nyom, the right back.

I wouldn't touch anyone from Stoke with a barge pole.

Re: Xherdan Shaqiri
If ever a player needs to sack his agent its this guy.
What he is doing at Stoke is a mystery
Top quality touch and passing utterly wasted with that lot.

Payet never got back and was never guilty of a tackle but I still didn't mind him

Re: Xherdan Shaqiri
Butland and Evans will be out of our reach. Shaqiri is a sulky squat little prima Donna. Stay clear.

He's a flake and a bit of a sick note too...he has a very strange shape...

NO

Re: Xherdan Shaqiri
The 3 to drop looks like to be West Brom, Southampton and Stoke, I would be surprised to see Southampton and Stoke survive.

After looking at their teams I would consider 2 out of each team to sign

Jonny Evans and Grzegorz Krychowiak of West Brom

Jack Butland and Xherdan Shaqiri of Stoke

Cédric Soares and Oriol Romeu of Southamton

FCJ

To be fair other than lightweight everything you said there was the general opinion on Arnie too

where does he usually play?
wide?

Re: Xherdan Shaqiri
No, very talented but lightweight flair player who doesn't consistently turn up and wouldn't help with the balance of the team.
You can't build a team of flair players that are only good if they have space in the final third. I don't remember him and Arnie ripping it up at Stoke together.
Loads of players who would better fit what we need. Strong, quick players with vision and some passing ability would be high on my list.

Re: Xherdan Shaqiri
I think he is a liability, yeah great going forward but how do you fit him in when someone else has to do his defensive work for him

Eggbert Nobacon 6:11 Tue Apr 10
Re: Xherdan Shaqiri
Ham, yeah Roy Keane too as I mentioned

Re: Xherdan Shaqiri
Eggbert i remember a pretty decent Forest team (92/93?) getting relegated with Nigel Clough & Stuart Pearce in the team?

Bernie 5:52 Tue Apr 10
Re: Xherdan Shaqiri
If Southampton drop I'd love to see us go for Romeu, lovely player that would fit nicely into our gaping hole midfield.

Butland would also be a no brainer, but I suspect he'll attract more glamorous suitors.

Johnny Evans would also go straight into our starting 11.

So not many decent players in the last 15 years then?
